All about Our Wickless Candles...

You've got questions & we've got answers

What is a Wickless Candle?

What size candle do I need?

The best way to decide what size candle you should use is the 8-10 rule... use an 8oz. candle for every 10ft. radius of the room. Following this rule will ensure the scent will flow evenly through out the entire room.

We reccommend:

* 16oz. candle for Living Rooms, Kitchens & Master Bedrooms

* 6oz. candle for mid sized Bathrooms, Bedrooms & Office Space

* TeaLight & Scoop Melts for Small Bathrooms and Laundry Rooms

A Wickless Candle is much like a traditional candle but without a wick.  A Wickless candle releases fragrance via a candle warmer or candle warming plate instead of a wick.

Do I need to keep the lid on my candle?

Keeping your candle sealed preserves the fragrance and avoids dust & debris from collecting & sticking to the wax.

Why does the container have rust on the inside?

The "rust" color is a reaction from the fragrance oil. Some fragrances have higher content of ingredients and can stain the tin metal. This does not alter the preformance of your candle or pose any risks.

How long will my Wickless Candle last?

This a tricky question all because it completely depends on you!

If you melt your candle everyday for a consecutive 10 hours the fragrance will not last as long as someone who only melts their candle 2 days a week for 4 consecutive hours.

The typical expectation of a Wickless Candle is to preform twice as long as a traditional wicked candle.

* At Wiggins & Co. we designed our candles to meet a MINIMUM of: 14oz. Candles/330 Hours, 5oz. Candles /180 Hours and Scoop Melts/72 Hours

How long do melts last?

Our Scoop Melts are designed to last 72 hours.

Because our Scoop Melts allow you to choose the amount desired this will alter the "melt" time...the more you use the longer the fragrance will last.

We recommend replacing your melts every 3 days for best results.
